In Kid’s Group, for kids in 1st thru 5th grade, we foster relationships and begin a tradition of community service, because part of belonging to a church is supporting your community! Kid's Group meets monthly, and in that time, they love hands on activities (the messier, the better) and to help out around the church!  This year, Kid’s Group has decorated the entrance to Mother’s Day Out in chalk art, created pumpkin centerpieces for our Trunk or Treat event, and made birthday cards for church members who cannot attend services regularly. For fun (and messiness' sake) , we've made slime, had an “un-lock-in” on a Saturday night (in pajamas!), and entered and then judged a cake decorating contest!
