Rev. Dr. Jeanne Thomas, Pastor

I am blessed to be the pastor of this wonderful community of faith called Newtown Square Presbyterian Church. I am passionate about serving God and God's people of all ages, believing that we grow in wisdom and knowledge no matter how young we are or how mature we become.

I graduated from Princeton Seminary in 1997 and began serving as an associate pastor. Since that time, I have served five churches in the area, and was called to NSPC in April of 2012. Other studies were completed at Bucknell University (BSMA), Villanova University (MBA), and Pittsburgh Seminary (DMin).

One of my first memories of church was attending Vacation Bible School, and ever since I have had a heart for the spiritual nurture of children. Having three children of my own, I also have a heart for the spiritual nurture of their parents, too! For these reasons, spiritual transformation is at the foundation of everything I do, from preaching to teaching to leading small group studies. I believe that by growing in our faith and discipleship, we more closely mirror Jesus Christ in our lives, and can become Christ Incarnate for one another.

My husband, Jim is an ordained Elder and has served as a Deacon at NSPC. Together we have three grown children and a goldendoodle who keeps us entertained at home. We enjoy playing golf and traveling when we are able.
